Headed for a remote planet on the most distant side of the system, individuals (Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup) of the state transport Covenant find what they think to be an unknown heaven. While there, they meet David (Michael Fassbender), the engineered survivor of the bound Prometheus undertaking. The baffling scene soon turns dull and hazardous when an antagonistic outsider living thing powers the group into a destructive battle for survival.
